License Terms
The Journal of Sustainable Solutions (JSS) operates under a licensing agreement that governs the use and distribution of content published in the journal. Authors, readers, and other users of the journal are required to comply with the following license terms:
1. Creative Commons License:
All articles published in the Journal of Sustainable Solutions are licensed under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY NC 4.0) license. This license allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, for non-commercial purposes only, as long as proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal.
2. Attribution Requirement:
When reproducing or distributing content from the Journal of Sustainable Solutions, users must provide appropriate attribution to the original author(s) and the journal. Attribution should include the article title, author(s) name(s), journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, and a link to the original article on the journal website.
3. Non-Commercial Use:
While the CC BY NC 4.0 license does not allow for commercial use of content.
4. Modification and Derivative Works:
Users are permitted to remix, adapt, or build upon content from the Journal of Sustainable Solutions to create derivative works. However, any derivative works must be appropriately attributed, and the resulting work must be distributed under the same Creative Commons license terms as the original work.
5. No Additional Restrictions:
The CC BY NC 4.0 license applied to content from the Journal of Sustainable Solutions does not impose any additional restrictions on users beyond those specified in the license. Users are free to copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt content from the journal, provided that they comply with the terms of the license.
6. Waiver of Rights:
By submitting content to the Journal of Sustainable Solutions, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work under the terms of the CC BY NC 4.0 license. Journal retains the copyright of published work and others are free to reuse, republish, or distribute their work for non-commercial purposes without seeking permission from the journal.
7. Indemnification:
The Journal of Sustainable Solutions disclaims any liability for the use or misuse of content published in the journal under the terms of the Creative Commons license. Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the license terms and any applicable laws or regulations.
